This is a collection of things I love: tattoos and politics, old clothes and new ideas, photography, sewing, literature, activism, art, fashion, and the strange pieces of culture I hold onto. What we wear, what we make, what we preserve, what we reject, and what we choose to put on our bodies all say something.
I have a special interest in things that had a life before I found them…vintage clothing, old photographs, handmade objects, books with notes in the margins. I love stories that tattoos can tell without words. I sew because I like the intimacy of making something meant to live against my body. I take photographs to keep a moment that is otherwise passing.
There will be things here that are serious and things that absolutely are not. Essays beside photographs, politics beside outfits, and whatever else I can’t stop thinking about.
